God used my story today!!!

Hola! Wow what a long day and I had the morning to relax...well I guess I used the morning to prepare my testimony!

I say it was a long day cuz I am emotionally and spiritually tired. I shared my testimony twice today, once with a group that aged around 12-15 and then the second was 16-22 but a group of older adults joined us too. I met soooooooooooooo many people! I can't remember many of the names but I do know that at least 3 or 4 or maybe even more were named Diego. So by the end of the night I just called all the guys Diego lol they found that pretty funny!

The first group was easy for me to share my testimony cuz they were younger then me. And full of energy, really reminded me of hanging out with the heartland junior high group!!! Miss you guys! Hope you had fun at youth tonight...someone tell me what u guys did for an event!

The second group was more challenging for me due to the fact that they were older and more my peers! I am not sure why but I feel very uncomfortable and way to vulnerable with peer. It's like I lose confidence and I wanna crawl in a hole and hide. While the youth and young adults were playing a game I was standing back just praying to God that he would help me, cuz I was really feeling out of my comfort zone and was feeling overwhelmed and for some reason I wanted to cry. I have no idea why could be a mix of being tired or you know just the fact that I am a woman lol. I prayed that God would help me calm down and relax and give me his confidence.
And as I was praying a guy named Santiago which means James in English came up to me and started to speak to me in English, it was very broken up but I understood him! We just started talking about nothing really, you know the basic topics, career, hobbies, etc! And he asked me what my passion was and it was like a calmness came over me and I just started to talk about my passion to help God's orphanages of the world. It was awesome God again came thru to help me!!! I just love seeing God answer my prayers!!! And I love talking about my passion about helping children! Lol

My testimony went well! And after Gabby was able to share the gospel with the group!

And after the service a few people came up to me and said that the words that I said were exactly what they needed to hear or what they were praying to God about, my testimony was their answers to pray. Which was really sweet to hear them say that! To hear that God really did use me, all I needed to do was totally surrender to him and let his words be mine! And he did the rest!!!!

After church we went to McDonald's cuz I really needed chicken fingers! Lol I know not healthy but I was craving them!

Tomorrow I am off to Shell! I'm excited! I can't wait to see the little niƱos! please pray for me, that I find the group that I need to meet up with and for safe travels to Shell!

Well it's almost 11 here and I have to get up at 7 so I better go to bed! Thanks everyone again for your prayers and support!

  2. Oh I forgot to tell you about youth! Logan says they played a game called "shuffle your buns" - there were an equal number of chairs as people and everyone was sitting except one person who has to try to sit in the empty chair. Everyone scooches from chair to chair to keep that person from sitting down. You get the idea. And they did an easter egg hunt in the dark. They had donuts, iced tea, and hot chocolate. They had to line up from youngest to oldest and couldn't talk but had to find other ways to communicate your birth year, month and day, like using paper or txting or hand signals. They played a foosball tournament with a bunch of different teams and that's pretty much it :)
